Description

A two-panel mosaic of this rarely shot Nebula in Cepheus.
The star of the show is of course on the right, reminding me a bit of the Tulip in Cepheus.
NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope imaged the center of SH140 back in 2003 - There's a hidden cluster in there.

I usually dread mosaics since I don't have the best weather to pursue a multi-frame target.
But I wanted to test how it will work with my Newt.
There are unfortunately some stitching artifacts.
I had to shoot this over a long period of time and the camera came off a couple of times.
So framing wasn't very matched between sessions.
Not sure if a different software would do better than Pixinsight.

About 8 hours of Halpha per panel and 90 minutes for each RGB channel per panel.
All shot from the city of Kingston, Ontario - Bortle 7-8
